![]() WACO. TEXAS - The U.S. government is about to go to court over the 1993 stand-off in Waco, Texas. A judge has cleared the way for a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed by survivors of the siege, and relatives of the dead. They say Washington is responsible for the fiery end at the Branch Davidian compound. The claimants also take issue with the government's conclusion that David Koresh and his followers fired first during the FBI raid. Koresh and about 80 followers died in the fire that consumed their compound.
